John Mills, retired Stillwater educator, was honored at the Board of Directors Meeting for Payne County Youth Services on March 24, 2025. John Mills has served on the Board of Directors for 45 years. John has filled every position on the board over the years, from Board Chair to Vice Chair and Secretary/Treasurer. He has chosen this time to retire from these duties and will be greatly missed.
John’s wisdom, experience, and dedication to our organization and young people has been invaluable,” stated Janet Fultz, Executive Director. “John is always a calm and thoughtful voice and has helped PCYS grow significantly over the years. We are extremely grateful for John’s service.”
“It has been an honor and pleasure to watch Payne County Youth Services grow into an outstanding agency that is serving hundreds of young people and their families in Stillwater and Payne County,” stated Mills.
PCYS is excited to announce that John will continue to serve on the Advisory Board for Sustainability and Public Awareness, where his contributions to the PCYS mission will continue to nurture the agency, along with the children, youth and families that are served.
